Sulcata tortoises are often a popular choice for pets, and Sheldon says he is the best of the best! He loves to explore the yard, and will follow you around...probably to make sure you're not up to no good! While these guys can be very rewarding and entertaining pets, they do come with some serious needs and have a very long lifespan. Sheldon currently weighs 45 pounds, but will get much larger.
