We invite you to help us celebrate our triumphs in saving animals’ lives at the 16th Annual Puppy Love Benefit, on Saturday, May 12th, 6pm-10pm, at The Historic Coliseum located at 535 4th Ave. N., St. Pete, FL 33701. This year’s theme is “Stayin’ Alive – a disco party”. We have a lot of festivities planned throughout the evening: silent & live auction, 50/50 Raffle, puppy pimping, open dinner buffet, photo booth, entertainment by Moving Arts of Tampa Bay, music, and more. The Annual Puppy Love Benefit is our largest fundraiser of the year. It is vital to the day-to-day operation of our facility, providing much-needed funds for the care and recuperation of our animals.P

Why do we have Puppy Love annually? The Annual Puppy Love Benefit is our largest fundraiser of the year. It is vital to the day-to-day operation of our facility, providing much-needed funds for the care and recuperation of our animals. Our goal this Puppy Love is to raise $100,000 and YOU have already helped us on our way, thank you.
When and where is the Gala? Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Historic Coliseum located at 535 4th Ave. N., St. Pete, FL 33701. Take I-275 to Exit 23A, then exit #2. Parking will be on the left.
What time should I arrive? Sponsors arrive at 5 pm. Table purchases and individual guests arrive at 6 pm.
Tickets: We don’t print tickets for this event. Instead, your name will be at our Check-In upon arrival. If you have not provided your guests’ names, please email them to email@example.com or text them to (813) 505-6148 ASAP. Puppy Love is SOLD-OUT.
Where can we park? Parking is free and is located behind the Coliseum. There is a parking attendant all evening. If you plan to consume alcohol, we encourage you to use UBER, Lyft, or a designated driver.
Guest List/Check In: This year we will be pre-swiping your credit card(s) during check in to expedite check out.
Where do I sit? If you are a sponsor, guest of a sponsor, or reserved a table of eight, then your table will be marked accordingly. All other guests can take a seat at any table labeled General Admission. Because this is a SOLD-OUT event, we ask that you please do not skip a seat. Please be mindful of all guests at your table as we do not have extra chairs or tables.
What should I wear? Dress is semi-casual. Anything goes! Some of you may be going with the “Disco Party” theme and we can dig it! Please do not bring balloons of any kind.
What’s for dinner? Milan Catering will be cooking on site providing a wide variety of foods that will keep you coming back for another bite between all the other festivities. Vegetarian and Vegan options will be available and labeled.
Do I need to bring cash?
YES PLEASE! Our puppies will be pimping for $, we will have a 50/50 raffle and the bar is Cash Only. There is an ATM at the Coliseum.
Thirsty? Included with your admission is complimentary fruit infused water, unsweetened ice tea, and coffee. All other beverages can be purchased at the bar and are CASH ONLY. There is an ATM at the Coliseum.
Bidding: You will be given an auction catalog and your bidder number at check-in.
How do I bid in the silent auction? Please see our Auction Rules & Guidelines provided for you at check-in.
How do I bid in the Live Auction? As our live auctioneer, Blake Kennedy, starts the live auction, simply raise your program to bid on a live auction item and we will take note of the winners. Please see our Auction Rules & Guidelines provided for you at check-in.
How do I collect all my winnings? After the live auction, you can check out and pay for your winnings with a credit card, check, or cash. If you swiped your card at check-in, your winnings will be automatically billed and you can simply pick up your basket. Please be patient during this process, but it should move quickly. We have assistants to help you load up your vehicle if needed.
Are my purchases tax-deductible? Please see our Auction Rules & Guidelines provided for you at check-in.
Can I bring my dog? No. BUT we will have adorable puppies for you to kiss and some other alumni who will be “pimping” for the cause so DON’T FORGET YOUR single $1’S! Sorry, no cats volunteered to attend this year as it would interfere with their cat naps.
